What's On Your Nightstand?

Currently the nightstand has been expanded to include Evernight by: Claudia Gray. For months I've been completely entranced with The Outlander Series by: Diana Gabledon. A truly worthy collection of books to behold for sure, but as a writer within the young adult/crossover genre, I was beginning to feel a little detached, possibly even fearful of growing up. Phah! Like that could ever happen! So I'm still on an outlandish adventure-say in the evenings, but I shall dance with vampire's by night fall. Who knows, my next novel may include a kilt wearing, Gaelic cursing vampire, who lives on the blood of sheep then turns into a sugarplum after midnight. Any thoughts on possible titles will be greatly appreciated. Also, let me know what's on your nightstand? I'm feeling very creative today...

  1. A HUGE stack is on my nightstand! But I'm reading The Duff currently. :)

  2. I've read about 5 and a half books in the Outlander series and then I got too bored with it. Her books are sooooo long, but the first one was GREAT!

I am studying for a teaching test now, so I am not enjoying my reading choices. I did just finish Poison Study and really enjoyed it.

  3. I'm trying to read Perfect Chemistry, but I left it at a friend's house :( My books from Booksfree should be here tomorrow so my nightstand will include I Am Not A Serial Killer and also Mind Game by Suzanne Brockmann (addicted to this series, though it has its problems). I'm totally in love with Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter books! Can't wait for book three to come out.

LOL, I'd love to think up a good title for that one, but I'm afraid I'm AWFUL (yes, capitalized even) with titles. I might have to hold a contest to choose a title for my books.

  4. Oh goody, a few more books to add to my reading list. You guys have great tastes! My nightstand keeps expanding to various locations throughout the house. I keep having a recurring dream where a voice keeps saying "Must build more shelves" or maybe it's just my husband talking in his sleep. As far as titles go, don't worry Angela, I've changed my title four times on my MS. It's a work in progress. As far as the above mentioned, I'm totally feeling "Sleepless in the Highlands" for a title:)

  5. I really disliked Evernight at first, but there's a twist in the middle that surprised me more than any other novel, by far! Enjoy.
